SEIZING THE THRONE

Julia Comita and I partnered again to direct a feature for Hunger Magazine that highlights the stories of models with disabilities, specifically wheelchair users, and their experiences and perspectives within the fashion industry.

We wanted this to feel like a moment of empowerment. Where these models feel fierce, sexy, and beautiful. We wanted to create a story that people in similar situations could visualize themselves in. We wanted people who are not used to seeing themselves in fashion and media to know that they can do anything.

These models and many like them are seizing their power and breaking down walls and paving the way for people with disabilities.

Seizing the Throne has won an award from the ADC Awards 2022.
